Lori Harvey Celebreates 24th Birthday With Steve Harvey & New BF Michael B. Jordan

Lori Harvey celebrated her birthday with her family and new bae.

Amid going public with their relationship on social media, Lori Harvey and Michael B. Jordan are celebrating the model’s 24th birthday at an intimate get-together with loved ones. Harvey and other members of her family shared snippets of the celebration online, which appeared to be a good time.

With everyone stylishly dressed, a bangers-only playlist on rotation, and lights dripping from the ceiling for the ambiance, the bash was underway. Lori was clad in a black halterneck leather dress and black high heels. In one of the clips on Instagram, her stepdad Steve Harvey was seen dressed in a bright-colored suit looking as dapper as we’d expect the TV star to be.

On her Instagram Story, Lori Harvey shared a video of her reflection on the LED dance floor with her Black Panther star boyfriend making a cameo when he basically video bombed the clip. Earlier that day on the platform, Lori posted a series of photos with the simple caption, “24,” which served as a message board for birthday wishes.

Michael B. Jordan was among those who wished the model a happy birthday writing, “Gimmie!! Sheeesh!!” with the drooling emojis under the photos of the model in sheer white leggings and a corset top with cake smushed all over her fingers. “Happy birthday Turtle!!” Jordan added. The actor probably got what he was asking for later that night, but one could only figure based on the vibe of the party we were all privy to on social media.

The comment garnered hundreds of responses, including one from the birthday girl herself who wrote, “thank you nugget.” Jordan, who is ten years her senior, will be celebrating his birthday next month as well, so we’re expecting their romantic high to maintain its altitude for the foreseeable future.

Just last year, Lori was celebrating her 23rd birthday in Jamaica with her family, friends, and then-boyfriend Future. Sources say the model is trying a new approach with her current relationship, which is why the couple only confirmed their romance recently after months of speculation. Do you think we will get a glimpse of what Lori’s new man got her for her birthday?

People who were in contact with the two infected refugees are being tested and isolated, according to the UNHCR.

The UN refugee agency said on Tuesday it confirmed two coronavirus cases in the Azraq camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan, which is home to more than 40,000 people who have fled their country’s civil war.

They are the first infections to be detected among Syrians living in refugee camps in Jordan. The UNHCR said the two patients were transferred to quarantine facilities after testing positive late Monday, and their neighbours have been isolated as more testing is carried out.

“It is a reminder that everyone has been affected by this epidemic, and solutions must be addressed through international solidarity and cooperation,” UNHCR said in a statement.

UNHCR spokesman Mohammad Hawari said the two patients were transferred to an isolation centre on the Dead Sea. Those who were living with them, as well as their neighbours, were moved to an “isolation zone” inside the camp, and everyone who had contact with them is being tested.

Hawari added the camp hospital has 14 beds designated for patients with COVID-19, the disease caused by the virus. But he said officials are concerned the virus could easily spread among the crowded population.

Testing has already been carried out for all individuals they were in contact with and isolation procedures implemented. We await the results and continue to closely monitor the situation. (3/3)

Azraq is home to about 40,000 Syrian refugees, while the larger Zaatari camp in Jordan houses around 80,000. Jordan hosts a total of more than 650,000 Syrian refugees, most of whom live outside of camps. At least four Syrian refugees living outside the camps in Jordan have tested positive, with three of them recovering.

To date, the kingdom has reported 2,478 coronavirus cases and 17 related deaths.

More than 5.5 million Syrians have fled the country since the war broke out in 2011, with most settling in neighbouring countries where they often live in close quarters and struggle to make ends meet. Coronavirus lockdowns have taken a heavy toll on the region’s economies, making it even harder for refugees to find work.

Experts and aid agencies have warned of potentially catastrophic outbreaks in the world’s refugee camps, where sanitation is often poor and social distancing is nearly impossible.

More than 70 million people worldwide have fled their homes because of war and unrest, and up to 10 million live in refugee camps and informal settlements.

Prosecutors charged Nasser Nawasreh, union head of Jordan’s Teachers Syndicate, with incitement over anti-gov’t speech.

Jordanian security forces arrested leading members of the opposition-run teachers union on Saturday, raided its offices and shut it down for two years, escalating a confrontation with a group that has become a leading source of dissent.

Prosecutors charged Nasser Nawasreh, the acting head of the Jordanian Teachers Syndicate, with incitement over a speech to supporters last Wednesday that criticised Prime Minister Omar al-Razzaz’s government. State media said other charges related to allegations of financial and administrative wrongdoing.

Riot police reinforcements were deployed on Saturday near the seat of government in the capital, Amman, and other areas where teacher activists were planning protests. Security forces raided the union’s headquarters in the city of Karak.

The teachers’ union responded by calling for a demonstration on Wednesday, during which Nawasra urged authorities to respect their promises.

According to the official Petra news agency, Amman’s Prosecutor-General Hassan Abdallat summoned 13 members of the union’s council for questioning on “criminal and corruption charges”.

Petra did not elaborate on the nature of the alleged “crimes” but quoted Abdallat as saying they included “financial violations”.

The prosecutor also issued a gag order on investigations into the case, the agency said.

      ‘Government smear campaign’

Saturday’s crackdown on the union would “only further aggravate political tensions by the government at a time people are choked under hard economic conditions”, said Murad Adailah, head of the Islamic Action Front, the largest opposition party.

The 100,000-strong union went on strike last year, shutting down schools across Jordan for a month in one of the longest and most disruptive public sector strikes in the country’s history. In recent weeks, its leadership has accused the government of failing to honour a deal signed last October that ended the strike.

The agreement included a 50 percent pay rise this year, which the government now says is unaffordable because of the economic blow from the coronavirus crisis.

Some officials have also accused union leaders of harbouring the opposition’s political agenda. The union said this accusation is part of a government smear campaign.

Opposition politicians say the government has been using draconian emergency laws enacted last March at the start of the coronavirus lockdown to limit civil and political rights. Activists have been arrested in recent weeks over comments on social media.

Countries warn Israel that annexing settlements in the occupied West Bank could have ‘consequences’ for relations.

Netanyahu’s government set July 1 as the date when it could begin to annex Jewish settlements in the West Bank and Jordan Valley [Amir Cohen/Reuters]

The foreign ministers of Egypt, France, Germany and Jordan have urged Israel to abandon plans for annexing settlements in the occupied West Bank, warning such action could have “consequences” for relations.

The government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had set July 1 as the date when it could begin to annex Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank, as well as in the strategic Jordan Valley.

The move was endorsed by a Middle East plan unveiled by US President Donald Trump in January.

Netanyahu’s office made no announcement on July 1, but said talks were continuing with US officials and Israeli security chiefs.

“We concur that any annexation of Palestinian territories occupied in 1967 would be a violation of international law and imperil the foundations of the peace process,” the ministers said in a statement after a joint video conference on Tuesday.

        200629094030496

“We would not recognise any changes to the 1967 borders that are not agreed by both parties in the conflict.

“We also concur that such a step would have serious consequences for the security and stability of the region, and would constitute a major obstacle to efforts aimed at achieving a comprehensive and just peace.

“It could also have consequences for the relationship with Israel,” the statement added, underlining their commitment to a two-state solution based on international law.

In recent weeks, the EU has mounted a diplomatic campaign against the annexation, highlighted by a visit to Jerusalem by German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas to raise concerns about the prospective plans.

But the bloc cannot threaten Israel with formal sanctions without unanimous support among members.

After occupying the West Bank in the 1967 Six-Day War, Israel began establishing a network of settlements during the following decade. Construction has continued to this day.

Despite being viewed as illegal under international law, the settler population has jumped by 50 percent during the past decade.

Ayman Safadi visits Ramallah to coordinate moves against Israel’s annexation plans in occupied West Bank, Jordan Valley.

Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi has warned Israel’s plan to annex large parts of the occupied Palestinian territories would pose an “unprecedented danger” and have wider consequences for peace in the region.

His comments on Thursday came during a visit to Ramallah in the occupied West Bank for talks with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas “within the framework of continuous coordination and consultation” between the two sides on the annexation issue.

          More:

The trip is part of efforts spearheaded by Jordan against Israel’s plans to annex illegally-built Jewish settlements in the West Bank as well as the water-rich Jordan Valley, moves greenlighted by the United States as part of a controversial plan unveiled by President Donald Trump in January.

The Palestinians rejected Trump’s proposal as utterly biased in favour of Israel.

“The position I carried with me today has been the kingdom’s permanent historic position to stand with our Palestinian brothers and their right to freedom and to establish their Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital,” Safadi told a joint news conference alongside his Palestinian counterpart, Riyad al-Maliki.

“We have said in the past that annexation means that Israel had chosen conflict over peace and it alone bear the responsibility of its decisions,” he added, calling the issue of annexation “an unprecedented danger to the peace process”.

“Consequences [of the annexation] are not only on the Israeli-Jordanian ties but also on the entire peace efforts in the region,” Safadi said.

Jordan and Egypt are the only Arab countries to have peace agreements with Israel.

On Tuesday, Jordan’s King Abdullah II addressed US congressional leaders via video conference to discuss Jordan-US strategic ties and to rally support against the planned annexation.

Abdullah reiterated the Jordanian stance on the importance of “establishing an independent, sovereign and viable Palestinian state”, according to a statement by the royal court.

The Israeli government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said it could begin the annexation process from July 1.

The planned move would deprive Palestinians of key agricultural land and water resources, especially in the Jordan Valley region. It would also effectively kill the two-state solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict that was based on the idea of land for peace.

Trump’s plan foresees the eventual creation of a demilitarised Palestinian state on the remaining patchwork of disjointed parts of the Palestinian territories without occupied East Jerusalem, which Palestinians want as the capital of their state.

At the news conference in Ramallah, al-Maliki praised the Jordanian efforts.

“The Jordanian brothers are making strong and brave efforts all over the world as evident in King Abdullah’s efforts with the US Congress trying to prevent Israel from going ahead with its plans,” he said.

Saeb Erekat, secretary-general of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), said the Palestinian and Jordanian leadership shared the same positions on annexation and other issues.

“Arab peace initiative, end the occupation, realising the independence of the state of Palestine with East Jerusalem as its capital, on the 1967 borders,” he wrote on Twitter.

Yehya Alsaud, a Jordanian politician and chairman of the Palestine Committee, also welcomed the king’s efforts to coordinate with the Palestinian leadership and called for the cancellation of Jordan’s peace agreement with Israel that was signed in 1994.

“Israel should end its thuggish behaviour against the Palestinians and in the Arab world,” he told Al Jazeera.

Israel occupied East Jerusalem in the 1967 war. It later annexed it in a move never recognised by the international community.

Kevin Jon Heller, professor of international law at the University of Amsterdam and professor of law at the Australian National University, told Al Jazeera that the Israeli planned annexation is “clear and fundamental violation of international law that prohibits annexation of territories taken by force”.

Jordan business owners fear financial ruin amid lockdown

Jordan business owners fear financial ruin amid lockdown

Ramadan shopping season slump amid coronavirus restrictions has deepened the economic crisis for local entrepreneurs.

          by 18 May 2020 19:24 GMT

Jordanian clothing store owner Abu Oday has seen his business suffer severely during the Ramadan lockdown [Ali Younes/Al Jazeera]

Like other small businesses around the world suffering steep declines with the spread of coronavirus, businesses in Jordan have had their profits take a pounding during the holy month of Ramadan.

Ramadan – the spiritual month of fasting, reflection, and worship for observant Muslims – is also considered a busy shopping season in Jordan and around the world, particularly the Eid al-Fitr holiday that marks its end.

            More:

Many small businesses – ones that prior to the pandemic anticipated a busy sales season during Ramadan but ended up shuttering their stores instead – are now facing mountains of debt or are on the brink of bankruptcy.

Jordan has few major corporations such as telecommunication firms and manufacturing giants, and small businesses are responsible for 75 percent of its gross domestic product (GDP), which currently stands at 32 billion dinars per year ($45bn).

Jordan has a population of 6.5 million citizens and almost three million refugees from neighbouring countries.

According to analysts, small businesses and family-owned shops provide the majority of the population with goods and services, ranging from dry cleaning to clothing and groceries.

Daily-wage earners such as painters, electricians, plumbers and others have suffered the most because of the COVID-19 lockdown and resulting loss of business and income.

Dry cleaning shop owner Abu Sajed said his business is barely surviving because of the lockdown [Ali Younes/Al Jazeera]

            Losing livelihoods

Abu Sajed, an owner of a small dry-cleaning business in the Yasmeen neighbourhood of the capital Amman, told Al Jazeera he closed his store for 45 days straight, which brought him to the edge of financial ruin.

He said his shop supports his family and that of his brother who also works in it, making about 350 dinars a month ($500) for each.

“When the government finally allowed us to open, we could not come to work because it refused to issue us permits to go out and drive a car to open the business,” said Sajed.

He said he applied to get a permit online through government sites, but was rejected each time because his was deemed a non-essential business.

“If we didn’t open the business back up and cater to our regular customers we will lose our only livelihood, especially during the Ramadan season. It is very confusing for us,” Sajed said.

The government initially allowed only neighbourhood grocery stores and butcher shops to open during the daytime so people could buy food supplies during the lockdown.

Other businesses were deemed “non-essential” such as computer and phone supply stores, clothing shops, and home repair businesses. These were barred from operating from mid-March until the end of April.

Mohammad Hussein, owner of a clothing store in Amman Old Town, said the lockdown has brought major losses to his business and personal income.

He noted Ramadan is one of the biggest shopping seasons of the year as people purchase new clothes for the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

“Because Ramadan came this year in the middle of the coronavirus lockdown, we are on the brink of bankruptcy,” he told Al Jazeera.

Abu Oday, who owns a clothing shop in the Nazzal area of Amman, said the prolonged shutdown of his store has practically killed his business.

What will Ramadan be like in the time of coronavirus?

“In normal conditions during the Ramadan season, we would have been very busy. But these days people are not buying new clothes for the holiday as they try to manage to feed their families as their first priority,” said Oday.

The government strategy to fight the coronavirus’s spread in the country has largely been effective in reducing the number of infections. There have been 629 cases and nine deaths as of Monday.

But it is has not helped family-owned businesses and daily-wage earners.

            ‘Government deception’

Jordanian economist Maen al-Qatamin, well known for his commentary on his YouTube channel, accused the government of “deception” and “misleading the public”, because it claimed to have no access to cash to support families and small business when in fact it did.

The government established several bank accounts to collect donations from the public and businesses to fund its operations, garnering more than 90 million dinars ($126m) in April. The majority of donations came from the banking sector, large corporations, and wealthy individuals.

The government established an account at the central bank worth $700m designed to help medium-sized companies with loans under strict financial conditions to cover operating costs. The government also said it distributed financial and food assistance to thousands of poor families around the country.

But according to al-Qatamin, small business owners were either deemed unqualified or were refused access to loans.

“Instead of supporting the public with cash to spend, the government went on slashing all of the public sector salaries by reducing wages to teachers and other government employees and abolishing scheduled salary raises,” he said.

The government also reduced the salaries of health care workers including doctors and nurses.

            Recession

According to a finance ministry official, Jordan was suffering through a recession for years before the coronavirus pandemic hit.

“The current crisis will sink us further into recession unless the government starts really using sound economic policies and structural reform,” he told Al Jazeera on condition of anonymity, because he was not authorised to speak to the media.

The official said the government’s previous economic decisions were responsible for the deep financial crisis Jordan is going through today.

“The problem in Jordan is that no one and no government is really ever held accountable for the disasters they create for the country.”

Prime Minister Omar al-Razzaz was quoted in the local press as saying on Monday that his government will pay bonuses to the healthcare workers in appreciation for their work in fighting the pandemic.

“All the decisions the government has taken [during this crisis] were based on deep discussions and reviews with different government agencies,” al-Razzaz said.

Amnesty International reiterated a call for Israel to lift a “baseless” travel ban on one of its staff in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Laith Abu Zeyad, who works as Amnesty’s campaigner on Israel and the occupied territories, was stopped by Israeli authorities at the King Hussein/Allenby border crossing on October 26 while on his way to attend a relative’s funeral in Jordan.

              More:

After being held for four hours, he was told he was banned from travelling abroad for what Israel’s internal security service, the Shin Bet, called “serious security considerations”.

The rights watchdog regretted that, after initially accepting the group’s petition to lift the travel ban, Israeli authorities have set a hearing on the matter at the Jerusalem District Court on May 31.

              191102181730987

“The decision by the Israeli authorities to impose the travel ban is baseless. He is a human rights defender who should be protected and not punished. Any suggestion that Laith poses a security threat is simply absurd,” said Saleh Higazi, Amnesty’s deputy director for the Middle East and North Africa.

“We are asking the court to lift the travel ban on our colleague Laith Abu Zeyad, but the authorities can decide to withdraw the ban before we get to the hearing, and they should certainly do so immediately.”

In September, Abu Zeyad was also denied an Israeli military-issued permit to enter occupied East Jerusalem to accompany his mother for medical treatment.

In December last year, Laith was banned from visiting his mother who was suffering from cancer, and as a result, did not get the chance to see her before her death.

Jordan says it has lifted all restrictions on economic activity in the latest easing of coronavirus lockdown rules to help jump-start the cash-strapped economy.

Jordan has in the last two weeks been lifting restrictions to allow businesses back to work, but with lower levels of staff and strict social distancing and hygiene guidelines.

                More:

Minister of Industry and Trade Tariq Hammouri said on Sunday businesses and industries would now be able to resume production.

Public transport will be allowed to return to full normal service with safety guidelines following the outbreak, but universities and schools will remain closed and a night curfew will continue.

Jordan has reported 460 confirmed coronavirus cases and nine deaths but says it has now contained the outbreak.

The government of Prime Minister Omar al-Razzaz won widespread praise for quick moves to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

But as the economic impact deepened, the government faced criticism from business groups and there were fears of social unrest.

                Play this song

                [Verse 1: B. Lewis]
Get you, get you on the floor
                Kitchen table, say no more
Got you up against the door
Run it up ’til the morning
                Never trippin’, on the low
Hit it fast, hit it slow
Run it up ’til the morning

                [Chorus: B. Lewis]
                I just gotta know
Can we do this on the low
Take it fast or take it slow
                Really doesn’t matter anymore, baby

                [Post-Chorus: Bas and B. Lewis]
Every time, my favorite times are wastin’ time with you
Love you sober, love you older, love you always, through
Forever might not need no wedding ring
Nowhere I’d rather be but here with you
This world, the seven seas, the Heavens too
No part of it I see compare with you

                [Chorus: B. Lewis]
                I just gotta know
Can we do this on the low (Oh)

Got no problems givin’ you the praises

Baby, you is something like my favorite playlist
But I could never play you like the stereo from Shea Stadium
It ain’t Shea Stadium, but these days
It ain’t rented and it auto-park
And she got back like a photobomb
Throw that ass back, no photoshop
Independent, had to shoot my shot (Ayy)
                Uber Eats, big movie screens
                Shit, fuck, and sleep
I could do this all day

                [Chorus: B. Lewis]
                I just gotta know
Can we do this on the low (Oh)
Take it fast or take it slow
                Really doesn’t matter anymore, baby

                [Post-Chorus: Bas and B. Lewis]

                Dave – Streatham Lyrics

                [Intro]
                Look

                [Chorus]
                I grew up in Streatham
                Teachers was givin’ man tests
Same time the mandem were givin’ out testers
I got peng tings givin’ man stress
I ain’t gotta sex it, message or text it
                I don’t wanna do you and I
Like I’m in Leicester skippin’ my lectures
We used to ride ’round all reckless

                [Verse 1]
Stolen ‘peds, that’s Geely and Vespas
And the feds called my broski restless
Said he got a charge in the car, no Tesla
                And everybody ’round me rowdy
I walk in, tell the jeweler, “Wow me”
If you’re talkin’ ’bout P’s just ‘low me
                19, I put 19 on an Audi
I’ll never forget that day that I found me the cutest caramel brownie
And the chest and back both bouncy
Trust me, everyting shake, no Saudi
My G just came out for a shooting
And Ramz done a madness, charting
Say that man got something in common
‘Cause trust me, both of their tings been barking
If you see him at a drink, cut parking
Do it like Jordan, run up and spark him
My G’s been on badness, way before they had a moustache like Stalin
And this ting’s all love and hate, ’cause a lot of man love to hate
My young G done draws and eights
Now he’s cuttin’ through bricks like the 1-1-8
And I ain’t on indirects, diss me, and I take that personal
How you gassed off a note that’s purple?
Bet you never got it off white like Virgil
Two men and an angry murk
That’s war wit’ a German, Winston Churchill
It’s mad when man wanna murk you
But you know you gotta be in by curfew
And I seen a lot of man get pressured, why?

                [Chorus]
                I grew up in Streatham
And teachers was givin’ man tests
Same time mandem were givin’ out testers
I got peng tings givin’ man stress
I ain’t gotta sex it, message or text it
                I don’t wanna do you and I
Like I’m in Leicester skippin’ my lectures
We used to roll ’round all stupid

                [Verse 2]
Mitcham Lane, that’s Streatham and Tooting
I’m in East tryna link my girl
‘Cause I’ve got a baby, a crossbow like Cupid
Man are dead or in jail, that’s useless
Tell a yute, “If you’ve got a brain, then use it”
Now I drive past man I went school with
You was the cool kid, now you look clueless
And I’m still tryna tell man, “Fuck the Audi, switch it for a Benz”
When you’re tryna make it out the ends
                Friends of enemies are enemies
And enemies of enemies are friends
Fuck the Benz, I switch it for a Beamer
Tell the dealer, “Need a bigger litre”
He told me he’s on me when he sees me
I barely remember why we’re beefin’

                [Chorus]
But I grew up in Streatham
And teachers was givin’ man tests
Same time mandem were givin’ out testers
I’ve got peng tings givin’ me stress
Nudes in the message, put in an effort
But I don’t need a me and you
Like when a chef would eat at his restaurant

Offset – Father of 4 Lyrics

                [Intro: Big Rube]
Yeah, you already know what it is (Swerve)
It’s noisy off the set path
How can I make choices I’ve yet to discover we have?
                Must need rehab
If you think you know me from the facets they show these folks to get money, I gotta laugh
How funny it is you don’t realize the skill lies in knowing within the truth there’s still lies
                It’s called being civilized
But not to trivialize your belief in the semi-fictionalized
                I am who you see
What you hear is part of me
But there’s so much more to me
So much more to be than just alive
                A son, a brother, a husband, a father
But still can go even farther
Wish and will, can go harder
In that time, I went the hardest
More than this generic term “artist.”
A reality smith, you love my craftsmanship
Because I craft some shit to make my people proud
And so I speak aloud, but not loud enough yet
Or as loud as I can get
                They think I ain’t a threat
But all preconceived notions, I’ve arrived
                To Offset

                [Chorus: Offset]
I was 17 years old when I had you (When I had you)
Tryna find my soul when I had you (When I had you)
I was oh so broke when I had you (When I had you)
Locked up down the road when I had you (When I had you)
Jordan, sorry I wasn’t there for all your birthdays
I tried to hit, I wasn’t rich, and had no workplace
My son Kody, he three, rappin’ already like me
Ridin’ in the car, you don’t play me, then he gon’ scream

                [Verse 1: Offset]
Kalea, you my first, first daughter
I missed the first years of your life, I’m sorry
Tell the truth, I ain’t really know if I was your father
Tell the truth, I really don’t even know your mama
But I had to step up, my daddy had left us
Even though we gotta catch up, pray to God that he bless us
I’ma keep grindin’ for my kids, never gon’ let up
I’ma put the money up for y’all, I can’t be selfish
Had a baby as a kid, mama kicked me out
Had to go and hit a lick, tryna put food in your mouth
Then I got caught for the shit, in the pen when she pushed you out
Your mama tried to push me down, ain’t let me stay at the house

                [Chorus: Offset]

                [Verse 2: Offset]

Keep my past closed, ‘member I ain’t had no dough
Spend a big bag on clothes, Gucci from the head to toes
Not two, not three, all four, that’s all they know
Kulture, remind me of my grandma, feel like she is closer
Gotta thank your mama, she hold me like holsters
Gotta protect her from the world, I can’t even post her
Ups and downs in this fame, roller coaster

                Lawrence Rothman – Jordan lyrics

                [Intro]
                I’ve lived long enough
                Long enough in shame
                Long enough
                Long enough in shame

                [Verse 1]
I live in a world that I’m not a boy or girl
I’m not alone, not human or animal
Truly would you die for me, die for me?
You know I’d die for you
Sorry, never thought I’d fall in love with my best friend

                [Chorus]
                After everything you’ve done
I know I’m the only one
Who’s bad for me, bad for me, bad for me

                [Verse 2]
You crash into my vision like a spirit with no latitude
No need to understand anything as long as I do
For the life of me, life of me, life of me
I chose to care for you
Kinda always knew I’d found love with my best friend, Jordan

                [Chorus]
                After everything you’ve done
I know I’m not the only one
Who’s bad for me, bad for me, bad for me
                There’s nothing left to say
There’s no blood left in my veins
‘Cause I’m bad for me, I’m bad for me, so bad for me

                [Outro]
I’ve lived long enough in shame, long enough in shame, long enough in shame
I’ve lived long enough in shame, long enough in shame, long enough in shame
I’ve lived long enough in shame, long enough in shame, long enough in shame
Long enough in shame, long enough in shame
I’ve lived long enough in shame, long enough in shame, long enough in shame

[Intro: O’Shaunesy Harley & Lil Uzi Vert]
…because it’s the last ride ever gonna, that I’m ever gonna take at Astroworld

Look at your Rollie, uh, look at my Rollie, uh
That’s a small face, uh, this a big face, uh
She can’t see my room, f*ck her in the hallway
Gettin’ bored with this money, count it all day

                [Verse 1: Lil Uzi Vert]
Yeah, they thought we were soft, boy you learned the hard way
Not with all the talkin’, turned it to a closed case
Look, bullets got duller, and it’s vanilla, all white, that Plain Jane, yeah
The Rolls goin’ better, hundred or better
I took the money and flooded my bezel
You diamond to rock, computed the setting
VVS diamonds, they pop just like kettle
I popped a molly to get on my level
Rockin’ that Ricky and Raf, here my sweater
Yeah, Patek Philippe, it cloudy like Heaven
Met her at 10, f*cked that girl at 11
Fake diamonds in your Rollie, how you reckon?
Diamond tester, nigga, you better check it, yeah

                [Chorus: Travis Scott]
Look at your Rollie, uh, look at my Rollie, uh
That’s a small face, uh, this a big face, uh
She can’t see my room, f*ck her in the hallway (yeah)
Gettin’ bored with this money, count it all day

                [Verse 2: Travis Scott]
On the south side of town gettin’ me a bald fade
Pass her some stuff, we can down it all, take (it’s lit)
No can’t trust her, she gon’ leave us all laced (laced)
Bust a bankroll in the club, where’s Chase? (Yeah, yeah, yeah)
                Like woah (yeah, yeah, alright)
Yeah they really want my soul (yeah)
That can never go (straight up)
                Angel in the snow (what?)
                Always leave me cold (iced)
Leave it on the floor (what?)
She slidin’ from the pole like woah (yeah, yeah, yeah)
                Put it on speed
You in ivory is all I need (skrrt)
All agree, we gon’ skip the tees, go bare like trees (trees)
It’s stuck in heat, we go with the dawgs and then we flee
Way this summer goin’ I might start my summer leave
Every young nigga get a check and get a team
Yeah, man’s on the front line ’cause man’s on his deen
No small faces, it’s just an AP beamin’

[Chorus: Travis Scott & Lil Uzi Vert]
Look at your Rollie, uh, look at my Rollie, uh
That’s a small face, uh, this a big face, uh

Gettin’ bored with this money, count it all day

                [Verse 3: Kanye West]
Look at my Rollie, look at your Rollie
Your sh*t rockless, my sh*t hockey goalie
You should gon’ hide it, man it’s too bad
Like a bald nigga still wearin’ du-rags, ha
Israeli guards, boy please be mindful
Don’t have words with me ’cause I got a mind full
I could tell Larry David was the mind behind Seinfeld
Wanna know how I feel? Step into my minefield
Wanna know how pain feels? I got off my main pills
Bet my wifey stay close, she know I’m on my Bezos
Opioid addiction, pharmacy’s the real trap
Sometimes I feel trapped, Jordan with no Phil Jack
One year it’s Illuminati, next year it’s the Sunken Place
They don’t want me to change, nah, nigga run in place
I need someone else to make this drink, because
You don’t understand the juice to vodka ratio
That could satisfy a real drunk, guess what?
Never trust a bartender that don’t drink, bitch

                [Outro: Kylie Jenner]
Bust down Rollies, bust down Rollies
And I told him I wanted to have a bust down baby

Skizzy Mars – American Dream Lyrics

                [Chorus]
They gon’ let me in this club in these dirty vans
Clean money, I count stacks with these dirty hands
Do a show, copped a rack with my new advance
                50 bands, 80, bands, 100 bands
                I’m the American dream
                We the American dream
                New money, no class
                Look at them

                [Verse 1]
                Look at them
                Uh
How to make it in America
Real nigga, day one, ain’t a lot of us
Mom worked two jobs, it was hard for us
Me and sis made it out, now she proud of us
They ain’t teach me how to rap in those private schools
Wasn’t like my rich friends, had a lot to lose
Less money, less options, lot of rules
So when that first deal came it was opportune
And shawty got potential, I scout that
She say she in love, but I doubt that
Maybe it’s the drugs or the clout
I get love in the north, I get love in the south, yeah
Shawty claim she a feminist and her ex man feminine
God damn girl you know that he average
God damn girl you know I’m a savage

                [Chorus]
They gon’ let me in this club in these dirty vans
Clean money, I count stacks with these dirty hands
Do a show, copped a rack with my new advance
                50 bands, 80, bands, 100 bands
                I’m the American dream
                We the American dream
                New money, no class
                Look at them

                [Verse 2]
                New money
Now I’m in the Benz truck with a new honey
Yeah, they said I wouldn’t make it
                I’m like, “You funny”
Laughing at my haters like, “You dummies”
The night is young, girl what can you do for me?
Six figures, five shows, big ballin’
                Look, I’m very important
I took a break, had some things I had to get sorted
I might retire in my prime like I’m M. Jordan
                Table dancing in South Hampton
Use the wine glasses for dirty fantas
We coolin’ out in the whip and I done damn near smashed every girl on my list
KD at the three, Djokovic with the racket
Phelps in the pool, I’m like Speith at the masters
God damn girl you know you a bad bitch
God damn girl you know I’m a savage

                [Chorus]

                We the American dream
                New money, no class
                Look at them

                [Bridge]
                Another day in the U.S.A
                Just another day in America
Kids from my hood look up to the drug dealers
The system set us up for failure
I just wanna make enough to pay dividends
                Then invest in black businesses
They teach us to hate what we see in the mirror
But it can’t break our spirit

                [Chorus]
They gon’ let me in this club in these dirty vans
Clean money, I count stacks with these dirty hands
Do a show, copped a rack with my new advance
                50 bands, 80, bands, 100 bands
                I’m the American dream
                We the American dream
                New money, no class
                Look at them

[Intro: DJ Teknikz & 2 Chainz]
See, we stacked down ’til we came up

Haha, Teknikz the muhfuckin’ DJ! Talk to em, Tit!
                ‘Member in school?
Teacher asked me what I want to be when I grow up, you know
You know, what I look up to
I told her I wanted to be the muhfuckin’ dopeman, you feel me?

                [Hook: 2 Chainz]
The dopeman my muhfuckin’ role model
The dopeman my muhfuckin’ role model
The dopeman my muhfuckin’ role model
Buy everybody in this bitch they own bottles
The dopeman my muhfuckin’ role model (yeah!)
The dopeman my muhfuckin’ role model (okay!)
The dopeman my muhfuckin’ role model (2 Chainz!)
Not Tyson, not Jordan, not Charles Barkley

                [Verse 1: 2 Chainz]
As a young nigga, seen ‘em getting to the money
Told my mama, “One day I’ma be one of ‘em”
So many court dates, I’m damn near gone Sundays
Back in the day when ya safe was ya undies
And I can’t complain, I’m tryna take a plane to Onyx
Yeah I’m fly wit ya woman, I get high wit ya woman
They really can’t rap so these niggas started humming
As soon as they did, 12 start coming
You hear them drums? Give the drummer some
Nah (nah) for real, you need to give Drumma some
I looked up to the hustlas in the foreign cars
Who got that strong, Superman, that dun-ta-dun

                [Hook: 2 Chainz]
The dopeman my muhfuckin’ role model
The dopeman my muhfuckin’ role model
The dopeman my muhfuckin’ role model
Buy everybody in this bitch they own bottles
The dopeman my muhfuckin’ role model (yeah!)
The dopeman my muhfuckin’ role model (yeah!)
The dopeman my muhfuckin’ role model (2 Chainz!)
Not Tyson, not Jordan, not Charles Barkley (okay)

                [Verse 2: 2 Chainz]
I’m problematic, problem with the automatic
Close-knit shit, cut from a different fabric
                Very necessary, d-boys are legendary
My Pops hustled, so do I, it’s hereditary
These niggas acting like girls, Tyler Perry stuff
Wanna get with me, I tell ‘em, “Neveruary 31st”
Under drugs, it was upstairs, say all I talk about
Is Gucci shoes, but I got more than one pair
One scale, two bales, and a cell phone
Give me two weeks, I turn this shit into the Velvet Room
Velvet rope, red carpet, inhaling smoke
Imagine getting awards just for selling dope

                [Hook: 2 Chainz]
The dopeman my muhfuckin’ role model
The dopeman my muhfuckin’ role model
The dopeman my muhfuckin’ role model
Buy everybody in this bitch they own bottles

The dopeman my muhfuckin’ role model
The dopeman my muhfuckin’ role model
Not Tyson, not Jordan, not Charles Barkley

                [Verse 3: Dolla Boy]
The dopeman my muhfuckin’ role model
Sip lean up, we drink out the gold bottles
New Vogues on Lacs like the old models
Wet paint, big feet, make it more hard
Came out the hood from a broken family
The streets was my teacher, they showed me no amnesty
Courts start attacking me, on top of that they adding fees
Stack cheese to stay up, but more important is lawyer fees
Coach said I was a point guard
But I’m posted up on the block and I go hard
Skills of a big man, nah, I’m a dope boy
Big bomb in the bushes, pistol in my ho car

                [Hook: 2 Chainz]
The dopeman my muhfuckin’ role model
The dopeman my muhfuckin’ role model
The dopeman my muhfuckin’ role model
Buy everybody in this bitch they own bottles
The dopeman my muhfuckin’ role model
The dopeman my muhfuckin’ role model
The dopeman my muhfuckin’ role model
Not Tyson, not Jordan, not Charles Barkley

                Proper-talking, bitch

                [Hook]
A nigga got pregnant, he was dickriding so much

Big bro was a good boy, he sacked the quarterback
But I was just a hood-boy, bricks in my culdesac (brick)

                [Verse]

Middle finger with the five, fuck the GBI (fuck ’em)
Mississippi, country nigga, crooked letter I (sip)
Matty with the eye, call me Patty with the pies (Patty)
I’m comin’ ov’, on the stove, look like I’m whippin’ rocks (skrrt)
Fuck her lookin in her eye, then I tell a lie

Club full of side-hoes, giving the side-eye (side)
Pull up murk the parking lot, call it a drive-by (grrah)
She tired of the small-fry, she want the big guy (s’Gucci)

                [Hook]
A nigga got a pregnant, he was dickriding so much
The word around town is this nigga six months (huh?)
She ain’t really pretty, she just Instagram stuntin’
Fake proper-talking, bitch be like “Please pass the Backwood” (what?)
Trap boy Jack, I get the pack and run it back

                Vic Mensa – Rage Lyrics

                (Intro)
                Command, we’ve lost control
                The engine’s bound to crash
                The lightning strikes went bright
                Do not go gently
                It’s just my luck
You shot my bluff down from a thousand miles
                I’m falling fast
                I’m falling fast

                (Chorus)
I want you to rage into the night
I want you to blaze into the light
                Before your final flight
But boy, you’re fine, you’re fine
I want you to rage into the night
I want you to know, know you’re right
                Before your final flight
Racing, racing, red eyes are burning rogue

                (Verse 1)
I always wondered whether leaving meant something deeper than freedom
To be able to see everything I see when I’m sleeping
Ni**as waking up with no job, no mob lynching, we still hanging
White man telling ni**as to ball like Phil Jackson
Pray to Jordan, the play was enough to put up the bail
                And a train don’t stop
And we ain’t have to ride the rails
Gas in the tank, hardly enough to make it home
They say home is where the hate is
I’m from where they kill their own
Probably film it on their phone, a generation addicted
To take knowledge and problems we face, and so conflicted
To take the burning road and just roll with the punches
Ni**as thought I was gone, I Derrick Rose from the trenches
Same fences we jumped as a shawty still in the way
Sometimes I wish I could fly far, far away
Where my sins fall down like pouring rain
I’m on slip my knot, hope I don’t fall again
Standing on my feet, I feel so small to look into space
It’s heavy just to stare up there and wonder what waits
So much we still don’t understand, still right in front of our face
I light a match, for the jets

                (Chorus)
I want you to rage into the night
I want you to blaze into the light
                Before your final flight
                Before your final flight
But boy, you’re fine, you’re fine
I want you to rage into the night
I want you to know, know you’re right
                Before your final flight
                Before your final flight
Racing, racing, red eyes are burning rogue

                (Bridge)
                Riding a burning road
Running low, not a soul who could know
It’s every man who swept the burning ashes from the road

                (Verse 2)
I put the halloween pistol out the trunk
Inside my mouth, if it was real, but I would dunk
                That’s f**king done
How many thousand of kids would like to have mine?
Without a clue of the times I gave my life to have time
                I’m tired of waiting
Tired of chasing pills that I’m tired of taking
Tired of court cases, tired of judges
                Tired of saying f**k it
Tired of balling around the president, deciding this s**ts a gift
Two shots to life, only got one to live
You could lose it any night
Or down it in a fit
                Or win a championship game
As a man I feel pain
As a king, I feel reign
Ask me how I deal with fame
As I write you from my basement
                The cards ain’t changed yet
Ni**as on 47 still dealing the same shit
Rocks, blows, ducking cops and clothes
Came into the world naked, now I’m in all this BAPE shit
Tryna buy a Rolex, can’t even face time
I feel like it’s all wasted
                The underground getting wasted
I spent 1500 on these bottles and this table
I shake it before I pop, I promise I’m not stable
But that boy do got horse power, ignore hours
These days I lose tracks of days, been years since I felt this way
                Count on me to rage

                (Outro)
                Before the final flight
                Before the final flight
                I want you to rage
I want you to know, know you’re right

Nothin’ that a little love can’t fix
There ain’t no kind of situation
Where I wouldn’t cross a line for you
                FBI interrogation
I would get up there and lie for you

                [Pre-Chorus: Dinah]
                When push come to shove

                I’m gon’ keep lovin’ you

                [Verse 2: Normani]
You the type that I could bake for (bake for)
‘Cause baby, you know how to take that cake

‘Cause baby, you know that I’m worth the wait

                [Pre-Chorus: Ally & (Lauren)]
                When push come to shove
You show me love (you show me love)

I’m gon’ keep lovin’ you down, down, down
                I’m gon’ keep lovin’ you

                [Verse 3: Gucci Mane]
It’s like Bonnie and Clyde just walked in
A gangster and his bride just walked in
We on the same team and we ballin’
Got me showin’ off my ring like I’m Jordan
And I’ma hold you down like you hold me
And I’ll never tell a soul what you told me
When I was sittin’ in the cells is when you showed me
It takes a real one to put up with the old me
That’s why you in the coupe with the low seat
That’s why we at the game on the floor seats

Binary Star – Shogun (Waterworld 3 Album)

                It’s so real
                So ill
                Swallow a pill
                Gargle and spill
                Oil
                Automobile
                Control the wheel
                Burn Rubber appeal
                Never let the motor chill
Seen more faces than Poker deals

                Tank tops, bare arms
                where the soldiers kill
                Pythons
                with Hogan appeal
                Holdin’ the steel
                Blazin’ guns

                Raisin in the Sun
                Hot as oat meal

                I Write poems for thrill
They bite like a Doberman’s grill
Fade you like the Barber of a Seville
                Maybe it’s over ya head
                Maybe you over the hill
                like O’Neal
It don’t take a Kobe to squeal

Or the Coffee holdin’ the milk
                But not the Cream
                get the money
                dolla dolla bill
                Fill the envelope
                Nope
                broken the seal

                You’ coming up stiletto
We ballin’ like Wilt strollin’ on stilts
                Fully built,
You think like the Wolf blowin’ at pigs
                You’ too soft,
It feel like the wind blowing at silk

                The rain blowing
                the brainstorming
The lightening bolt on the hill
                Verse electrifying eel
                Power for a drill
                In the flesh
                Like the fangs Cobras reveal
Throw the staff like Moses will

                Speaking of the spoken,
                God-chosen
                I throw’em a deal
                Everybody know that it’s real/Isreal

                The more colder it feel

Devoted to explode it at will
Fuck ball, got bigger Jordan’s to fill
You Jack while I’m bonin’ my Jill

Nothin’ that a little love can’t fix
                There ain’t no kinda situation
Where I wouldn’t cross a line for you
                FBI interrogation
I would get up there and lie for you

                [Pre-Chorus: Dinah]
                When push come to shove

Termanology – We’re Both Wrong (feat. Saigon)

                [Verse 1: Saigon]
How could we have respect for you?
                Look what we subjected to
                Supposed to serve and protect
                You acting all unprofessional
Restraining a man is not grabbing him by his testicles
Sucker getting a gun and a badge and get disrespectful
I’ll tell you why this shit is so stressful
’cause we been going through it since we came to America
                On a vessel
Pick up a social studies book every time that they mention us
They was even enslaving us, trading us or was lynching us
                So what’s the big difference?
Whether it’s a rope or a scope, the objective is to go out and hit niggas
                Speaking this from the heart
                I been doing the knowledge
We’re seeing that slavery was never truly abolished
They making uzis with dollars they can use for the colleges
                What is this?
This is the movement of tricknologists
The only thing we’re doing wrong is not fighting back
You ain’t got the light to rap but you know what’s right and exact, jack

                [Hook: Saigon]
How the hell am I wrong?
When your people been doing my people wrong for so long
Now all we got is the hope and the focus to hold on
Y’all been killing us for so long, it can’t go on
                How we both wrong?

                [Verse 2: Termanology]
If they shoot at us, they probably get awarded
If we shoot at them, they popping us when they spot us
It’s harder to live life, more conscious and like marauders
And focus on the problem of who could fix it in office
Then picking up a bottle, a bitch, and a couple garcia’s
And heading to the crib, to kick it and get some knowledge
Do we want knowledge? And bread for our toddlers?
Saved in accounts or more belts and wallets
And me I’m part of the problem, purchasing gucci products
Before, I put away that money for my daughters collage
And still a great father but times are getting harder
No money for private school, I guess should go harder
Tryna lock in in stability, cuz of my family history
All of them died broke, so I’m tryna be the remedy
Our ghetto kids never inherit no stocks and bonds
                That’s something to think about
When you putting them Jordan’s on

                [Hook: Saigon & Termanology]
How the hell am I wrong?
When your people been doing my people wrong for so long
Now all we got is the hope and the focus to hold on
Y’all been killing us for so long, it can’t go on
                How we both wrong?, damn
